Pub / Gourmet
Melted Brie, Avocado & Bacon includes chips.
3 pt out of 5 for the Overall
A good burger with a delightful change from the usual toppings.
5 pt out of 5 for the Quality/originality
Brie and avocado on a burger is a first for us… not to mention their Burger Challenge.
4 pt out of 5 for the Presentation
Everything looked as good as it tasted.
4 pt out of 5 for the Toppings
The crazy brie and avocado topping had me hoping for more. The bacon was a bit salty but it was nice and crunchy to help balance the mush and gooey of the brie and avocado.
3 pt out of 5 for the Meat
Average pub fare.
4 pt out of 5 for the Bun
Lightly toasted and with good flavor and textures, it added to the burger.
3 pt out of 3 for the Temp
Cooked exactly how we wanted/ ordered.
0 pt out of 2 for the IT factor
Everything on this burger combines to make the burger something special.
Burger Total: 26 pt out of 35
5 pt out of 5 for the location.
Other then the crazy parking, it’s a great “bring the whole family” bar. On Satuday night the dinner rush was early and the late night crowd was still thin when we left. There’s a cozy open fire pit and seating/ smoking area out back and, with our Burger Challenge event taking place, our party received absolutely amazing service.
4 pt out of 5 for value.
It’s a touch high at just over $10, but you certainly get what you pay for and the service, ambiance, crowd, and fire pit outside all make this place special.
2 pt out of 5 bonus points.
+1 outstanding service and for giving us our own private room (not that I don’t blame them for not wanting our kind to mix with the general public)
+1 for offering what was a very fun and, apparently, a very difficult food challenge
