Fast Food / Burger De Jour
With an easy-off/ easy-on location, exceptionally clean store and bathrooms, an extra friendly and helpful staff, and amazing shakes, I had very high hopes. Unfortunately, their burgers were a complete let down. I’d give them credit for offering free toppings, except that they need to be piled on in order to make their burgers edible. If they were to get any extra points at all, it would have been for their excellent service and amazing shakes.
I’d say they’re better than most fast food, but, in the end, they’re still just fast food. If the choice is only between Jake’s Wayback and stopping at McD’s or BK, definitely stop at Jake’s. The quality is much higher, the staff is friendlier, and the shakes are great.
