Diner / Special

Our burgers…
For a change, we ordered 2 burgers. The Cowboy Burger with cheddar and bacon and the Southwest topped with a fried egg and more bacon. Both came with fries, so we spent the small fee to upgrade one to their sweet potato cousins.

Burger Score:
3 pt out of 5 for the Overall
In the end, they were both good burgers. Nothing fancy, nothing exciting, just good burgers.

3 pt out of 5 for the Quality/originality
With the exception of the bun, everything tasted as though it came from a freezer.

4 pt out of 5 for the Presentation
The square plates, egg washed bun, and ample fries made them appealing and appetizing.

4 pt out of 5 for the Toppings
The bacon had a nice crunch, the egg was cooked just right, and everything simply worked well together.

3 pt out of 5 for the Meat
It had the taste and texture of your average, run of the mill, frozen patties.

4 pt out of 5 for the Bun
The egg wash added a nice sheen to an otherwise ordinary bun.

3 pt out of 3 for the Temp
They were both cooked exactly as we ordered them.

0 pt out of 2 for the IT factor
One bite and we were completely blown away.

Burger Total: 24 pt out of 35

We had higher hopes after reading about it and how cute the place was, but, while not bad, it certainly wasn’t stellar either.

4 pt out of 5 for the location.

It’s a cute place that works the always fun 50′s diner theme. With ample seating both inside and out, you shouldn’t have any problems getting a table, but finding help may be another issue. We had gone in the daytime during lunch and there was only one server for the whole place.

3 pt out of 5 for value.

You get what you pay for, but not much else.

0 pt out of 5 bonus points.
