Pub / Pub Burger

Angus Cheese Burger
Angus Burger, with a choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and includes fries.

Burger Score:
4 pt out of 5 for the Overall
It’s what you picture when you hear ‘Angus Pub Burger.’

3 pt out of 5 for the Quality/originality
A good burger with a choice of cheese doesn’t make for an ‘original’ or ‘high quality’ burger.

5 pt out of 5 for the Presentation
Not very often do we say were splitting the order and it comes out on two separate plates with enough fries to say we had two orders worth.

2 pt out of 5 for the Toppings
Just the basics.

4 pt out of 5 for the Meat
Even a basic, Angus burger has better meat than most.

3 pt out of 5 for the Bun
It was a soft, basic bun, and, if the burger (or toppings) were any juicier, we might have had a problem.

2 pt out of 3 for the Temp
Medium rare was what we ordered, but we received medium.

0 pt out of 2 for the IT factor
It is was it is.

Burger Total: 23 pt out of 35

Go for the good service, the community and the beer and, if you’re hungry, have a burger.

5 pt out of 5 for the location.

I could see us singing a few Irish drinking songs with a packed house.

3 pt out of 5 for value.

A good burger with fries for a fair price.

2 pt out of 5 bonus points.

+1 Most Irish Pubs have corn beef and cabbage, some might even have shepherds pie, but far too few will offer the classic Bangers and Mash.

+1 Paying attention to the customers and their needs. In our case, they took the extra care to split the burger (and fries) for us.
