1/2 lb. juicy angus burger topped with our Irish Whiskey BBQ sauce, Monterrey Jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and fried onions. Includes Fries.

It was a good burger, but it came off a bit sweeter than expected and the flavors were somewhat inconsistent in each bite.

Good beef seasoned well with quirky toppings and together it brought on more then a few groans.

The open severed sandwich was eager to show us the multiple layers of toppings and it showcased the fried onions.

We would have preferred the BBQ sauce to be sharper and have more of a bite instead of being so sweet, but the fried onions, and multiple layers of textures and flavors made up for it.

The overcooking and limited seasoning made the meat simply another guest instead of the star.

A good burger that wanted to elevate itself to the next level with it’s great flavors and textures, but we couldn’t get past the overly sweet BBQ sauce or well done patty.

If a place is popping at 7PM on a Wednesday, you know they’re doing something right. The fun environment, a mix of friendly customers, great music, and their fast moving and attentive staff made McGirk’s the place to be.

Mistakes will happen, that’s normal and expected, but it’s how the staff reacts to the problems that make the difference. As soon as she saw the mistake in our order, Megan apologized and rushed to fix it.
