The Egg Head Burger
1/4 lb grass fed beef patty, cheese, diced onion, topped with an organic fried egg.
Burger Score:
5 pt out of 5 for the Overall
The meat had an amazing melt-in-your-mouth quality. It’s a shame that the bun and toppings didn’t seem to match.
5 pt out of 5 for the Quality/originality
It might not have been original, but with the burgers coming from a farm only a few miles away, you can’t top the quality.

4 pt out of 5 for the location.
It was under renovation, but it still had plenty of character for a small burger counter. What makes Poppy’s special is their emphasis on local and natural ingredients where ever possible. The exception being their soda, which they import from Mexico so it contains natural cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.
4 pt out of 5 for value.
It’s a tad pricy for a counter-serving burger joint, but, like most things, you get what you pay for.
3 pt out of 5 bonus points.
+1 selling the comic version of the artwork decorating the walls
+1 wide variety of beer and sugar cane sweetened drinks
